This is the blog of a Minnesota expatriate and a statistics nerd.
My day job, such as it is, is as a graduate student in social science. In that capacity, I spend a lot of time crunching numbers and wrestling with complex statistical models. The plan here is to bring a little of that know-how to the analysis of baseball. Because otherwise I’d have to finish my degree and get a real job.
